GESCHWANDTNER RELOCATIONS was founded in 1998 by its owner Mr. Ladislav Geschwandtner. In the beginning our company started just with a small removal truck and two movers but until today we have grown up to be one of the leading high quality moving companies in Austria. Over the years our customer base increased by private persons and companies of all size and types of business and involved an enormous development and an ongoing expansion.
In 2004 the first warehouse was established in Vienna, Austria. In that same year we opened our second branch office in Bratislava. At this time we employed 6 qualified movers and export packers and counted 2 self owned removal trucks.
In the following year Mr. Geschwandtner decided to expand out further and invested in the international moving sector. We became a proudly member of EUROMOVERS INTERNATIONAL and also a member of IAM – INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATON OF MOVERS (formally known as HHGFAA). These co-operations lined up alongside the already existing memberships of ÖMTV – AUSTRIAN FURNITURE TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION and FEDEMAC – EUROPEAN MOVERS.
In 2007 we made the next step forward and rented a new and bigger warehouse with better infrastructure to provide our clients the most professional service. To keep the standards on top we have to stay one step ahead of the competition. Therefore our skilled and trained movers and export packers follow international courses every year to improve their high level of quality.
In 2008 our customers and partners confirmed their satisfaction and our professionalism when our employee Mr. Dominik Schneeberger has been elected to the board of directors of EUROMOVERS.
As you can see our company earned a lot of experience in national and international moving over the last couple of years and is under continuous development. We now count total 15 movers and export packers and 7 office employees in Vienna and Bratislava. Our truck fleet has also grown up to 3 overland removal trucks, 2 city and national moving trucks, 1 outside elevator, 2 shuttle vans and several passenger cars. Our actual warehouse has a total capacity of 1.000 square meters and is constantly heated over the winter period.
